Our Journey

Tayarii was founded in 2017 with a clear vision of what was missing: Indian clothing tailored for the modern South Asian household. The goal was simple—create garments that are beautifully made, properly considered, and priced for real life rather than just the red carpet.

What began as bespoke pieces for friends naturally evolved, through word of mouth, into a dedicated brand. Every piece is designed in the UK and thoughtfully hand-made in Punjab by a small, trusted group of artisans. While the techniques—hand-block printing, phulkari embroidery, and mukaish detailing—are deeply traditional, the silhouettes are intentionally modern. Tayarii pieces are designed to be lived in, whether you are celebrating a wedding, Diwali, Eid, or embracing the everyday moments in between. They are modern, yet deeply rooted.

In 2022, the brand entered a quieter, more intentional season to focus on family and design for a close circle of returning customers. That slower pace turned out to be a gift. It provided the time needed to refine our design language, deepen our relationships with our makers, and become even clearer about our purpose.

Now, fully re-engaged and operating at full strength, Tayarii is opening its doors completely. We are introducing a new wedding capsule alongside a growing lifestyle range created by the very same artisans who have been with the brand since the beginning.

We are incredibly proud of how far we've come, and we are just getting started.
